About the event
This year, we are collaborating with Mentor Newark for an HBCU- themed Halsey Festival, welcoming local sororities, fraternities, student groups, and professionals. The event will engage students, office workers, and families returning downtown, building deeper ties to the Halsey Street corridor. Highlights include live performances from local talent, a vendor market with food and goods, and free activities for all ages. Strong community partnerships continue to make the Halsey Festival vibrant and inclusive.
