About the event
Rock The Bells, the culture-shifting Hip-Hop platform founded by LL COOL J, has officially announced the lineup for its 2025 festival. In partnership with the Black Promoters Collective, the festival will make its New Jersey debut at Prudential Center on Saturday, June 28. This year’s theme — Class of 2025: Summer’s Kool — sets the tone for a bold celebration of musical icons, cultural leaders, and the lasting power of Hip-Hop. The night will feel like a homecoming — where generations unite, the sound evolves, and the culture takes center stage. The lineup brings together voices that shaped Hip-Hop and those driving it forward: Busta Rhymes, Redman, Eric B. & Rakim, Remy Ma, Too $hort, Scarface, Plies, Boosie, Fabolous, Lil’ Mo, and Coast Contra. Hosted by the Dean of Ceremonies, Roxanne Shante, and soundtracked by the legendary Kid Capri, the evening will be a masterclass in lyricism, showmanship, and raw energy. A highlight of the night, the Uptown Records Celebration — led in collaboration with DJ Eddie F — pays tribute to one of the most influential movements in music history. Featuring performances by Al B. Sure!, Donell Jones, Christopher Williams, Soul For Real, and others, the set will reignite an era that defined the sound of a generation. It’s about the bars that taught us. The beats that moved us. The culture that shaped us. Class of 2025: Summer’s Kool isn’t a reunion — it’s a reminder. This year’s Rock The Bells Festival is proudly presented as part of the Prudential North to Shore Festival — New Jersey’s largest summer celebration of music, comedy, and culture — produced by NJPAC.
